This position is ideal for a provider who is looking to experience the best of Southern living in New Mexico, the state's second-largest city. The program emphasizes collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical care services with a strong focus on social medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Program Director to develop residency infrastructure, including curriculum development and resident recruitment.
- Provide oversight of outpatient primary care, office procedures, precepting, didactic teaching, and resident mentoring.
- Spend approximately 70% of time on teaching and administrative duties, and 30% on clinical care.
- Deliver full-spectrum family medicine care, including inpatient medicine and obstetric skills.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).
- Interest in geriatric care is desirable but not required.
