Full description

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Test Technician to support early-stage development and testing of electrical enclosures used in high-density liquid cooling systems. This role is ideal for candidates with electromechanical testing experience in a laboratory or industrial environment, including technicians who have previously worked as HVAC Technicians and are comfortable working with mechanical systems, electrical components, and cooling equipment.
The Senior Test Technician will work closely with engineers to build prototypes, assemble test setups, and run experimental testing as new cooling and enclosure technologies are developed for high-performance computing and data center applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and modify prototype electrical enclosures and liquid cooling system components.
  • Set up and run experimental lab tests on cooling systems, pumps, enclosures, and related electromechanical components.
  • Build and configure test rigs and lab setups including pumps, tubing, sensors, wiring, and instrumentation.
  • Operate lab equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, thermocouples, flow meters, and pressure sensors.
  • Collect and record test data, observations, and performance measurements during experiments.
  • Assist engineers with hands-on troubleshooting, system modifications, and iterative prototype builds.
  • Fabricate and modify basic mechanical assemblies, wiring, and plumbing connections for liquid cooling loops.
  • Maintain lab equipment, tools, and test benches to support ongoing R&D activities.
  • Follow lab safety procedures and maintain an organized working environment.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree or technical certification in Electromechanical Technology, HVAC, Electrical Technology, or similar field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on electromechanical experience in a lab, manufacturing
  • Background working in an R&D lab or prototype development environment.
  • HVAC industry experience is required
  • Experience with liquid cooling systems, refrigeration components, pumps, or heat exchangers.
