Job Description

The Feeder Dispatch Admin with Driving works in a fast-paced environment supporting feeder drivers both outdoors and in an office setting. This role requires attention to detail, physical activity, and strong communication skills.

Location: Louisville, KY
Shifts:
2nd shift: 4:00pm to 2:00am from Wednesday to Saturday
3rd: 12am to 6am Sunday to Thursday

Pay:21/hr
Weekly pay
 

Key Responsibilities

• Open and close trailer doors (some heavy) to verify trailer status

• Walk off trailers in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, etc.)

• Drive a company-provided vehicle on UPS property

• Respond to inbound and outbound feeder drivers via phone

• Assist drivers with dispatch-related needs

• Escort non-SIDA3 drivers on and off property

• Perform trailer walk-offs and ensure safety of walk-off personnel

• Accurately read and verify trailer numbers

• Maintain safety standards at all times

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (required to drive on company property)

• Ability to physically open and close heavy trailer doors

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

• Ability to use computers and multitask accurately

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Ability to work well under pressure with a positive attitude

• Must wear sturdy work boots for foot protection
