Responsibilities include cost comparisons, financial auditing, data integration, and reporting to optimize plan performance for clients. This role requires advanced analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and experience in the Pharmacy Benefit Management industry.

Keenan has an exciting career opportunity for a Pharmacy Benefits Analyst. The Pharmacy Benefits Analyst will Support the Pharmacy Division with the data analytics needed to provide KPS clients with proactive consultation on their Pharmacy Benefit program. Review pharmacy data and provide recommendations for improving plan performance for the KPS coalition.
How you'll make an impact
- Prepare cost comparisons and savings analyses for prospects.
- Assist with financial responses to Request for Proposals (RFP).
- Analyze pharmacy data to provide management with key insights and findings.
- Translate pharmacy contracts.
- Audit internal and external client financials.
- Work with and integrate large amounts of data from multiple sources.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Medispan and NCPDP data sets.
- Develop standard reports and custom reports as needed.
- Identify trends in plan performance at client and coalition level.
- Prepare business requirement documents and desk level procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. Remote work environment flexibility.
About You
Required:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
Desired:
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the Pharmacy Benefit Management industry required.
- Advanced Excel Skills: ability to do pivot tables and advanced excel formulas.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Detail oriented and results driven.
- Adaptable.
- Project manage multiple priorities with acute attention to detail.
- Build relationships and create a sense of trust and reliability with internal and external customers.
- Advanced in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Compensation and benefits
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
