This position is for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician specializing in hospice and palliative care in Oregon. The role involves telehealth consultations, symptom management, crisis visits, and patient admissions with a schedule of weekdays and on-call nights and weekends. Candidates must hold relevant state licenses and certifications and have experience in hospice care, preferably with hospice board certification.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with 4-6 nights call per month plus approximately 1 weekend per month. Guaranteed 8 hours per day. OT applies after 9 hours per day.
- Job Setting: Telehealth - Hospice
- Types of Cases: IDT, consultation and med consults, telehealth visits, CTIs. Physician weeknight calls include admits and symptom calls on complex patients for crisis visits or GIP admits. Weekends can be busy with high number of admissions and complicated patients.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Highly prefer Hospice Board Certification. If FM or IM, MUST have ample experience in hospice work.
