Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN with night shift availability and NIHSS certification for adult medical-surgical care.
Responsibilities
- Work on a medical-surgical unit with an adult patient population
- Care for stroke patients in addition to general Med/Surg cases
- Night shift schedule
- Every other weekend is required for agency nurses
- 13-week contract assignment
- Provide nursing care to adult Med/Surg and stroke patients
- High level of responsibility expected for patient assessment and care management
- First time travelers are welcome to apply
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of professional RN experience
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
