Coverage needed: October am November am (Orientation October 27)
Call Only
5-10 patients per day going to ER with Orthopedic issues
Locums treat those that need immediate treatment
Common procedures include hip fractures, long bone fractures, ankle fractures and wrist fractures
Fractures/Sprains/Strains are currently being splinted and sent over for follow-ups
Case Log requirements: 100 orthopedic surgery procedures within 24 months
Ongoing needs to assist with call no dates finalized yet past November but typically weekends
