Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency medical care within a community-based clinical environment
- Manage a broad range of acute cases typical for Emergency Medicine
- Collaborate closely with support staff including respiratory therapists, psychiatry, teleintensivists, orthopedics, general surgery, OB/GYN, CRNA, and mid-level providers
- Participate in a flexible schedule with both day and night shifts as needed
- Demonstrate a strong preference for candidates with Emergency Medicine training or Family Practice with significant emergency department experience
- Adapt to clinical settings and protocols with a preference for experience in Minnesota or adjacent states
Additional Information
- Current Minnesota medical license required (or ability to obtain before start)
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine required
- DEA registration required
- Certifications required: ACLS, PALS, ATLS or CALS
- Experience at community healthcare sites strongly preferred
