Our client, an innovator in the elevator industry, is seeking a Fabricator to join their team. As a Fabricator, you will be part of the Fabrication Team supporting Production. The ideal candidate will have solid attendance history, strong work ethic, and attention-to-detail, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Sheet Metal Fabricator / Press Brake Operator
Location: Allen, TX
Pay Range: $21 / hour depending on experience
What’s the Job?
Requires:
- Ability to use / run press brake machines to make components for larger products
- Knowledgeable in laser-cutting
- Duties include reading blueprints & schematics
- Assemble and construct metal products, ensuring that the final product is accurate, functional, and meets the required specification
- These skills considered a plus: nesting / programming, laser marking, and mechanical engraving
What’s Needed?
- Sheet Metal Fabrication experience: 12 months
- Press Brake experience: 12 months
- Laser Cutting experience: 12 months
- Assembly experience: 6 months
- Ability to read and interpret drawings / schematics / blueprints
- Ability to assist other departments as needed is a plus
