Requirements

  • Perform high-quality CT imaging using accurate patient positioning and exposure techniques
  • Serve as the primary patient liaison, providing clear explanations and compassionate care
  • Collaborate with radiologists and the support team to ensure timely, diagnostic imaging
  • Apply professional judgment and critical thinking to troubleshoot imaging and patient issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation, follow safety protocols, and ensure image quality standards
  • Adhere to infection control and radiation safety practices at all times

Qualifications

  • Current California Certified Radiological Technologist (CRT) license required
  • Current Peripheral Vascular Access certification required
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology
  • Demonstrated skill in CT patient positioning and exposure techniques
  • Comfortable acting as a patient liaison and collaborating with radiologists
  • Ability to work 4x10 schedules including every other weekend; no overnight shifts
