Candidates must have an active North Carolina medical license, DEA registration, and be credentialed within 90-120 days to serve adult pulmonary and critical care patients.
Locum Tenens Pulmonology Physician Opportunity in North Carolina Are you a skilled Pulmonologist looking for an exciting locum tenens opportunity? We have a position available in the heart of North Carolina, serving a vibrant community in the beautiful Burlington area. Position Details: Specialty: Pulmonology Unit: Hospital Shift: Night (5x8-Hour, 19:00 - 07:00) Start Date: December 24, 2023 Job Duration: 13 days Job Details: Contract Length: Holiday coverage and PRN after Shift Details: 7:00 pm 7:00 am inpatient coverage Schedule: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am Work Details: Support staff: APP and eICU Amount of coverage needed per month: Holiday coverage and PRN after Patients per day: Approximately 10 per provider Patient population/age: Adult Pulmonary and Critical Care consultants Department description: On-site Critical Care APP coverage and eICU coverage in addition to locum's physician EMR: EPIC, eICU, fully modern, technologically advanced hospitals Hospital bed size: Varies per hospital Special procedures: Varies by hospital, including med/surg ICU, cardiac ICU, and neuro ICU; hospitals are within 5 minutes of each other with full sub-specialty support 24/7 Requirements: Board Certification: BC/BE Pulmonary Critical Care MD or DO License required: North Carolina (NC) DEA: DEA CSR: CSR Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days to be enrolled with all payers If you are interested in this exciting opportunity to provide Pulmonology care in North Carolina, please reach out to MD Staff at .
