Opportunity:

RN - Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Float pool position with no home base facility - must float throughout Zone 3 within 60-mile radius
• Required to work 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
• May be placed in holiday rotation
• Nurse to patient ratios of 1:5-6 based on acuity
• Float to multiple units including General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
• May float to different acuity levels including ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele
• Care for adult and geriatric populations with various diagnoses including cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, post-surgical patients, and general medicine
• Must have minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience; neuro experience preferred
• Required to titrate Heparin drips
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Any color scrubs permitted
• 1-2 days orientation with preceptor
• Schedule made by leadership for 6-week periods with flexibility expected
• Rare call or standby requirements for low census
• Electronic charting system: EPIC
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
