American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department position requiring a WI or compact RN license and recent ER experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Patient population includes acute care and emergency cases
- Shift is 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM
- Every other weekend or as needed by the department, with rotating holidays
- May be required to float onsite within your skill set or to nearby sites within 40 miles
- Uses Epic for electronic medical records
- Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
- Must be able to respond to departmental needs including floating and working holidays
- All candidates must have two separate references and a valid driver’s license for consideration
- Radius rule applies for local candidates, with local pay rates enforced as applicable
- Active WI or compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
- Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- TNCC required and must be current
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- MOAB or CPI non-violent crisis intervention training (8-hour course, renewed every 2 years)
- Ability to provide primary source license verification within 30 days prior to start
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and US home address
