Geisinger Neuroscience Institute is seeking a board-certified neurosurgeon to join their team in Pennsylvania, providing comprehensive neurosurgical care including trauma, vascular, oncology, and functional procedures. The position involves participation in a multi-hospital system with advanced surgical facilities and high-value clinical protocols focused on patient outcomes. Job Duties
Candidates will join a diverse neurosurgical faculty with existing comprehensive coverage of vascular/endovascular, neuro-oncology, skull base, stereotactic, and functional neurosurgery. General neurosurgery call coverage including cranial and spine trauma is required.
As part of our world-class Geisinger Neuroscience Institute, we have innovative high-value clinical protocols for acute inpatient and chronic outpatient disease management, a 20-year clinical data warehouse (Geisinger had one of the very first Epic systems), and a groundbreaking population genomics program. Our team consists of 16 neurosurgeons providing neurosurgical services in four hospitals, including multiple hybrid operating rooms supporting comprehensive stroke programming.
