Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Gastroenterology
Join a dedicated team in a well-established hospital in Petoskey, Michigan, where you will find a supportive environment for both inpatient and outpatient care. The practice is set within a facility that offers state-of-the-art technology, including onsite labs and imaging services, ensuring comprehensive patient care. The schedule includes Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4:30 PM, along with weekend call duties.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform ERCP procedures as required.
- Manage 18 outpatient visits and 20 inpatient scopes daily.
- Provide endoscopy coverage and any necessary consultations during 7 AM 4:30 PM shifts.
- Work collaboratively with a team of two physicians and two advanced practice providers.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) via Cerner.
- Engage in clinical duties in a hospital setting.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology (REQUIRED).
- Current ACLS certification (REQUIRED).
- Active Michigan medical license and CSR at the time of submission (REQUIRED).
- Local candidates preferred for in-person roles (REQUIRED).
- Minimum two to three years of experience following completion of Fellowship (REQUIRED).
- Clean background with no actions other than minimum malpractice (REQUIRED).
- COVID-19 vaccination status (REQUIRED).
- Verbal confirmation of DEA at the time of name clearance (REQUIRED).
- Experience with ERCP procedures (REQUIRED).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
- Active Michigan medical license.
- ACLS certification.
- Verification of COVID-19 vaccination.
- DEA status confirmation.
