Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry float pool position with night shifts and VT or compact license required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Resource Staff Pool of a hospital setting
• Position is a true float role covering Telemetry, PCU, Medical/Surgical, Oncology, Surgical/Med-Surg units, Progressive Care, and ER holds
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, 36 hours per week
• Cerner EMR is used; prior experience is preferred
• Orientation is provided on a biweekly basis
• Schedule requests are subject to manager approval
• Must have own vehicle, as public transportation is not accessible
• Local candidates are not accepted for this assignment
• Reporting to hospital units with varying patient populations as needed

Requirements

• Active VT or compact RN license; VT license must be applied for upon acceptance if not already held
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Dysrhythmia testing required
• Comfortable floating between multiple units including PCU, Med/Surg, ER holds
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
