Our job summary

This position is for a board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist to provide inpatient and outpatient coverage in Southern New Jersey. Responsibilities include weekday and weekend shifts with day, night, and 24-hour call coverage, performing common gastroenterology procedures such as ERCP. The role requires New Jersey medical and controlled substance licenses and involves working primarily at one hospital using Sorian EMR.

Coverage Needed:
- Will need weekdays and weekends as needed:
- Schedule:
  - Prefer 1 full week at a time
  - Monday " Sunday (ending Monday morning)
- Shift Types:
  - Mon " Thurs " Day Shift
  - Fri " Day Shift + Night Call
  - Sat, Sun " 24 hour call
- Shift Times:
  - Day Shift: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
  - Night Call: 5:00 pm - 7:00 am
  - 24 hour call: 7:00 am - 7:00 am

Clinical Information:
- EMR: Sorian
- Inpatient hospital work
- Outpatient procedures
- Bread and butter procedures
  - ERCP - STRONGLY PREFERRED
  - EUS not required
- Privileges take 4-6 weeks (Emergency privileges are an option)
- Will cover 1 hospital
Required:
- New JerseyMedical License
- New Jersey Controlled Substance Licenses
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible
