Seeking Hospitalist and Nocturnist; must be Board Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, with interest/training in Intensive Care Medicine.Block scheduling 7on/7off; shifts are 7am-7pm 10am-10pm; days shifts - $240k - daytime $285k nocturnist salary and up to $40k incentive bonus plus complete benefit package; nocturnist positions also available - $300k and up to $40k incentive bonus; $150k for 4 years in loan repayment;
Graduation from an accredited Medical School Required (M.D. or D.O.)
Completion of Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine Required
Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 Coding Preferred; patient census of 15-16per day; Mid-level support;
Maintains CME per requirements for Board Certification
Provides medical care on a continuous basis for non-assigned patients admitted to the hospitalist service and provides medical consultations on inpatients at the request of other specialties. Establishes and maintains good communication and working relationships with members of the hospitalist staff, nursing staff, case management and other hospital departments. Collaborates with referring primary care physicians. Accepts and manages patients in the Intensive Care Unit on the hospitalist service or on consultation. On-site coverage hours include weekdays and appropriate coverage on weekends. On-call coverage to be divided among the hospitalist service team. The Hospitalist physician must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to adult patients served in a hospital inpatient setting.
