A large medical group south of Boston is seeking a Medical Director of Addiction Medicine who leads the development and growth of the SUD program, including the hospital-based Addiction Consult Service. The medical director ensures the optimal function of all facets of the program across all departments.
About the Opportunity:
- Full-time position
- 0.6 FTE, with 0.4 administrative duties and 0.2 clinical
- Strategic and future planning for the program, including the hospital-based Addiction Consult Service, and leading the effort to integrate SUD Services throughout the organization and community
- Expanding the program to include all abused substances and treatment modalities
- Expand our collaborative relationships and efforts, creating new partnerships and relationships with other community organizations and partners
- Reporting directly to the chief of primary care and working collaboratively with the CMO
- Managing and completing peer review activities to ensure compliance
