Gastroenterology - Northern West Virginia
- Employed practice seeks BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join their team of 5 physicians and 3 APPs. Group is adding another APP
- Base salary: $500,000 - $600,000 commensurate with experience plus productivity bonus
- Three physicians in practice do ERCP and one other performs advanced procedures
- Both general and advanced Gastroenterologists are encouraged to apply. Able to start with about 25% advanced cases to start with a max of approximately 35-40%
- 6,000 sq ft clinic was recently renovated, contains 13 exam rooms, and is attached to the hospital
- Block scheduled procedures two days per week
- Patient census:
- Average clinic day - 24 patients
- Average procedure day (2 days per week) = 15 procedures
- Average inpatient census 20-30, including new consults with an APP to assist
- Call:
- Inpatient: day call rotated weekly - during week on inpatient, there are no clinical responsibilities. APP support offered during inpatient week
- Outpatient: rotated equally amongst physicians in group
- EMR: EPIC in both clinic and hospital
- Very strong administrative support
- Hospital has a Family Medicine residency program allowing participation in grand rounds and lectures, if desired
