Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU – Nights
Location: Carlsbad, NM
Duration: 13 weeks, start ASAP
Unit Size: 12 beds
Patient Ratio: 1:2–3
Shift: Nights, 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Floating Required: Yes (ER & Med Surg departments)
Call Requirements: None
Holidays: Required
EMR: MedHost
Role Summary:
The Travel ICU RN provides total care to critically ill patients, including ventilator management, titratable drips, medication administration, and hygiene care. This role requires collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced ICU environment. Floating to the Emergency Room and Med/Surg units may be required.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
ER & Med/Surg experience required
BLS, ACLS, TNCC required
Experience with ventilators, titratable drips, medication mixing, and patient hygiene preferred
