Urogynecology Faculty Opportunity Location: Rochester, MN Full-Time, permanent position Position Highlights Join the Division of Urogynecology, managing complex benign pelvic surgery including urogenital fistula, congenital anomalies, and multispecialty complex abdominal-pelvic procedures Work collaboratively with specialists in obstetrics, gastroenterology, urology, neurology, colorectal surgery, plastic surgery, and physical medicine & rehabilitation Participate in a division of 5 Urogynecologic surgeons and 2 advanced practice providers Engage with a Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology comprising 50+ board-certified physicians and a rich patient mix (regional, national, international) Contribute to residency and fellowship education, including AAGL and ACGME-accredited training programs, and the Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) fellowshipKey Responsibilities Provide independent surgical care for complex pelvic floor disorders Participate in collaborative, multidisciplinary patient evaluation and management Conduct high-quality research, including clinical/surgical trials with potential for external funding Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows Promote inclusivity and foster a culture of belonging within the team and with patientsQualifications Completion of an ACGME-accredited URPS fellowship Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN and URPS Advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgical skills preferred Strong clinical focus with academic engagement, ideally at the Assistant Professor levelPractice Environment & Benefits Academic practice with a collaborative, integrated patient care environment Opportunities for career advancement, academic rank progression, and scholarly activity Access to a multidisciplinary team and cutting-edge resources in pelvic reconstructive surgery
