Locum Tenens Psychiatrist Needed in Appalachian Region Are you a skilled Psychiatrist looking for an exciting locum tenens opportunity? We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Psychiatrists to join our team at a well-respected healthcare organization in the scenic Appalachian region of West Virginia. Position Details: Location: Beautiful Appalachian region of West Virginia Specialty: Psychiatry Department: Psychiatry Start Date: October 1, 2023 End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Practice Setting: Inpatient, Telehealth EMR System: MediTech Coverage Schedule: Flexible schedule with both on-call and regular shifts Average 15-20 patients per shift Rounding on assigned patients Coverage dates extend from October 1, 2023, onward Qualifications: Board Certification or eligibility in Psychiatry Active medical license in West Virginia Experience in clinical areas such as anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, and more Familiarity with treatment techniques including pharmacotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and ECT Benefits: Competitive compensation package Travel reimbursement for associated costs Malpractice insurance provided by the vendor Supportive and collaborative healthcare team Join us in making a positive impact on the mental health and well-being of the Appalachian community.
