This locum tenens or permanent neonatology physician role in eastern Mississippi involves providing 24-hour call coverage in a Level III NICU with an average daily census of 6-7 patients. The physician will manage care for neonates 26 weeks gestation or older, assist with high-risk deliveries, and collaborate with neonatal nurse practitioners in a trauma-affiliated hospital. Candidates must hold an active Mississippi medical license and be board certified or eligible in neonatology.
