Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician for a quick-start contract assignment. This role is critical to ensuring the proper decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment in accordance with industry standards and facility policies.
Contract Details- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 40 hours per week guaranteed
- Exceptions may apply during major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s)
- On-Call: Shared call rotation required
- Perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment according to protocols
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
- Track and document instrument processing using the facility’s system
- Collaborate with surgical services and clinical staff to ensure timely instrument availability
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Sterile Processing experience
- Certification: Required (e.g., CRCST or equivalent)
- Health Requirements: Current TB clearance required
- License: State license not required
- Specialty: Sterile Processing

- EMR/System Used: CPSI / Evident
- Holiday coverage not required
