Job Overview
Rocky Top Restoration is seeking a dedicated Mitigation Manager to oversee our mitigation division, leading teams and projects through every phase of emergency response and structural drying. This field-based leadership role involves project oversight, documentation compliance, customer service, and technician support. As the face of our company on site, the Mitigation Manager ensures all work meets internal standards, IICRC requirements, and insurance expectations—delivering excellence and compassion when it matters most.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners during mitigation.
Clearly communicate timelines, findings, and next steps in a compassionate and professional manner.
Collaborate with project managers, insurance adjusters, and internal team members.
Project Oversight
Perform initial inspections for water, fire, and mold losses.
Deliver completed inspection packets and scope documents to clients.
Monitor job sites to ensure proper equipment usage, demo accuracy, and drying plan execution.
Verify daily readings, moisture maps, and documentation are timely and accurate.
Documentation & Compliance
Ensure techs upload correct photos, sketches, and moisture data.
Maintain job files that meet both company and insurance standards.
Confirm compliance with IICRC protocols and carrier expectations.
Team Leadership
Train, coach, and mentor mitigation technicians.
Perform quality checks and enforce best practices.
Lead by example with punctuality, professionalism, and accountability.
Professional Appearance & Conduct
Maintain clean, branded appearance and uphold conduct expectations.
Ensure team professionalism aligns with Rocky Top Restoration values.
Demonstrate respectful, problem-solving mindset at all times.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of mitigation/restoration experience preferred.
Required Certifications: IICRC WRT, ASD, AMRT.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Tech-savvy with mobile platforms, photo documentation, and moisture equipment.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to respond to after-hours emergency calls as needed.
