Locum Anesthesia Opening: High-Volume OR in Central PA We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a Locum Tenens position in a thriving medical facility near Barnesville/Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. This opportunity offers a dynamic work schedule with a focus on work-life balance within a collaborative medical direction model. Position Highlights Location: Near Barnesville, Pennsylvania Facility: 131-bed hospital with 13 ORs, 1 Hybrid OR, 2 Cath Labs, plus an outpatient surgery center. Team: Join a supportive team of 9 Anesthesiologists and 20 CRNAs (100% CRNA Medical Direction). Case Mix: Focused on bariatric, breast, general, GYN, orthopedic, and plastic surgeries. No trauma, neurology, or cardiac cases. The hospital handles approximately 600 surgical cases and 700 annual deliveries. Schedule & Coverage Shifts: Flexible block scheduling (8-hour, 10-hour, and 24-hour options). Call: Home-based call is shared equally. Required Monday through Thursday, two weeks per month. No Friday call is required. Requirements Board Certification (BC): Required in Anesthesiology. Licensure: Valid Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility through IMLC. (Licensing assistance is available.) Experience: Experience in Regional Anesthesia is essential. EMR: Proficiency with the Epic EMR system is required. Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
