Title: Physical Therapist – Home Health
Location: Fredericksburg, VA (with occasional visits to Falls Church, VA)
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills:
Provide home health physical therapy services to adult patients (18 years old).
Average patient load: 4-6 patients per day, minimum 24-30 visits per week to qualify for 40-hour guarantee.
Manage patient cases in Homecare/Home Health setting; acute care experience is a plus.
Complete all charting onsite using Kinnser/Wellsky systems; OASIS experience preferred but not required.
Travel within the assigned territory (mainly Fredericksburg, occasional Falls Church visits); mileage reimbursed per IRS standard.
Follow all Covid and flu vaccination policies (flu required, Covid declination allowed).
Maintain professional conduct: punctuality, good communication, patient-centered care, self-starter, and timely charting.
Required Qualifications:
Valid state license in hand at time of submission.
BLS certification.
Minimum 1 year of experience in home health/homecare; acute care experience desirable.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with OASIS documentation.
Familiarity with Kinnser/Wellsky charting systems.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
