An Emergency Medicine Physician providing Level 1 trauma care at a busy midsize city hospital, including pediatric and stroke centers, treating approximately 80,000 patients annually. Responsibilities include managing diverse emergency cases, performing all procedures within the scope of emergency medicine, and supervising residents and medical students. Requires board certification or eligibility in emergency medicine, active Illinois license, and experience in a large medical center setting with EMR systems like Epic.

Clinical Details
- Level 1 trauma enter 73 beds- inclusive of pediatric ED , Comprehensive stroke center, and Peds PCCC center
- Patient Population: Mixed volume for a midsize city of 110k. level 1 trauma center
- Sexual assault treatment center
- Annual Volume: 80k/year adult and peds Pediatric Volume: 16k Admission Rate: 27% Transfer Rate:
- 1.7 Patients per hour
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible in ABEM
- EM boarded Experience working with residents and med students in a large medical center
- Active IL License
- Min 1 year of experience
- DEA
- ACLS, BLS
- CSR
- Required procedures: All procedures within scope of a BC EM physician
Support Staff
- 3 year residency, MS 3 and 4 medical students, APPS
