The Orthopedics Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive medical assessments and care to patients within orthopedic and emergency settings. They collaborate with medical leadership to ensure adherence to clinical policies and maintain high standards of patient care. Key responsibilities include diagnosis, treatment, suturing, and interpreting x-rays for orthopedic injuries while supporting center performance and patient satisfaction.
Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner (Float) - Midland & Odessa, TX
Job Type: Full Time
Shifts: Monday - Friday (No Weekend/No On- Call)
Responsibilities
- Performs medical assessments of Center patients
- Establishes and monitors a medically appropriate level of care for Center patients
- Maintain clinical core competency
- Work with Chief Medical Officer and Regional Medical Directors to ensure operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards.
- Collaboration with center leadership team to positively impact quality of care, client and patient satisfaction and center performance
Qualifications:
- Master's degree is required
- Current State Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioners Licensure
- Current DEA licensure is required
- Experience in intramuscular, ulcerative colitis, Emergency room, Ortho is preferred
- Experience/ ability to read x-rays and ability to diagnose Ortho related injuries
- Experience/ability to suture
