This locum tenens cardiothoracic surgery position in Connecticut involves Monday to Friday shifts with night and weekend on-call rotations for a 3-to-6-month assignment starting in February/March. The role requires board certification, Connecticut licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, and experience with advanced cardiothoracic procedures including CABG, valve repairs, and aneurysm surgeries. The assignment is at a Level I trauma center with responsibilities spanning the OR, ICU, ER, and patient floors, supported by EMR systems and ancillary staff.
