Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology
Location: Tarzana, CA
Duration: 26 weeks
Shift: Days, 5x8-Hour (08:00–17:00)
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in an outpatient cardiac-focused setting
Conduct SPECT imaging studies including bone, brain, liver, renal, and sestamibi parathyroid scans
Perform myocardial perfusion imaging, including pharmacological stress testing (Lexiscan)
Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols and safety standards
Draw venous blood as required for nuclear medicine procedures
Perform PET scans when applicable (preferred experience)
Monitor patients before, during, and after cardiac stress testing procedures
Assist with EKG monitoring during myocardial studies (preferred)
Ensure radiation safety, patient identification, and adherence to regulatory guidelines
Accurately document procedures and results using Epic
Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care
Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience (new graduates considered)
Strong outpatient nuclear medicine experience preferred
Experience with myocardial perfusion and pharmacological stress testing required
Ability to work independently in a clinic-based setting
First-time travelers accepted
CNMT – Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (required)
NMTCB or ARRT – Nuclear Medicine Technology (required)
ARRT (R) – Radiography (preferred)
BLS – American Heart Association (required)
ACLS (preferred)
Active California State License (required; pending license accepted but must be obtained within 4 weeks of submission)
