Job Description
A Visalia based client is seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join a practice as the sole provider. This provider will have access to the collaborating physician but will be the sole provider at this clinic. An ideal candidate should practice excellent, evidence-based patient care, and should be comfortable treating all ages. Will consider new graduates if they are comfortable working autonomously after a generous orientation.
Required Qualifications
- CA NP license
- DEA certificate before start date
- CPR certification
- Board certified in field
- 1+ years of experience
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages
- Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
- Perform therapeutic procedures with prioritizing preventative care
- Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
- Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy
