HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Kansas City, Missouri.
Job Description & Requirements

Must have:
Advanced skills needed: Hemodynamic and ventilator management
Procedures performed on unit: Chest tube placement, ventriculostomy, moderate sedation, CRRT, therapeutic hypothermia; ECMO, arterial line and central line placement
Certifications Required:
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
(preferred but not required- TNCC)
Unit Specifics: Number of Beds : 32 Patient Ratios :2:1 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Unit Secretary 0730-0000 Type of equipment : Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: 3 12 hour shifts/ Every other weekend (or 4 weekend shifts in 4 week schedule period) Floating policy: To like units: NSICU, Cardiac Telemetry units (4 North and 4 Central) Progressive Care Unit (4 West), Burn Unit, ED Inpatient Overflow, other units as per overall hospital needs Patient Experience requirements: 2 years ICU experience, prefer ICU experience Hospital Specifics- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
