The LPN FT Cardiac Surg Intermediate provides patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses or physicians, focusing on cardiac surgical patients. Responsibilities include coordinating care, maintaining patient confidentiality, and meeting physical demands such as lifting and prolonged standing. The role requires an accredited practical nursing education, current LPN licensure, and certifications including LPN-IV and Basic Life Support.

Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
Experience: Can be new or experienced LPN
Certifications:
- LPN-IV Certification must be previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire (range from upon hire to within 1 year)
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
Physical requirements/demands:
- Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
