The position is for a Locums Radiation Oncology Physician to provide patient-centered cancer care at a free-standing, hospital-affiliated cancer center in Muskegon, Michigan. The role involves performing consultations, developing individualized radiation treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary oncology team using advanced radiation modalities. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Radiation Oncology, possess an active Michigan license, and be proficient with EMR systems such as Aria and Epic.
We areseeking an experienced Locums Radiation Oncology Physician to provide ongoingcoverage at a free-standing cancer center in Muskegon, Michigan. The idealcandidate will be board certified or board eligible in Radiation Oncology andproficient in advanced radiation treatment modalities. This is an excellentopportunity to join a collaborative, patient-centered team serving adultoncology patients in a community-based, hospital-affiliated setting.

AssignmentDetails:
- Setting: Free-standing Cancer Center (Hospital-affiliated; Level II Trauma Center)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
- Call Schedule: Shared 24-hour call, 1:2 ratio
- Patient Population: Adults, hospital-based
- Average Outpatients per Day: 10-15
- Duration: Ongoing, with potential to extend
- EMR Systems: Aria & Epic
Scope ofPractice:
- Conventional Radiotherapy
- 3D Conformal Radiotherapy (3D-CRT)
- Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)
- Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
- Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
- Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
- Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient consultations and follow-ups.
- Develop and oversee individualized radiation treatment plans.
- Supervise on-treatment patient care and daily clinical operations.
- Order and interpret imaging and diagnostic studies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary oncology team to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
- Document patient encounters accurately in Aria and Epic.
- Participate in shared call coverage.
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
- Active Michigan License or IMLC with LOQ in hand
- BLS Certification required
- Experience with Aria and Epic preferred
