Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN with an active OK or compact license and BLS certification for a day shift position.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital medical-surgical unit
- Patient population spans infants to geriatrics
- 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Weekend shifts required as needed
- No on-call responsibilities
- Local candidates will be considered
- Responsible for comprehensive patient assessment, nursing diagnoses, and plan of care implementation
- Coordinates care with ancillary staff and multidisciplinary teams to uphold professional nursing standards
- Up to 5 days of time off (RTO) may be requested
Requirements
- Active RN license for Oklahoma or a compact state must be in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum 6 months of med-surg experience required
- Current BLS (AHA) and NIH certifications required
