Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Detriot, Michigan.
Job Description & Requirements

- Assignment is 8-weeks
- Candidate must have postpartum experience
- Postpartum nurse experience required
- High risk experience required
- Neonatal resuscitation certification required
- BLS certification required
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing required
- RN get pulled NICU, Labor and Delivery, or Antepartum
- Will make sure RN has appropriate experience
- Schedule: (3) 12 hour shifts on nights. We work every other weekend

- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:5 or 1:2.5 (couplets)
- If busy or short staffed ratio: 1:8 or 1:4 couplets
- OT is billable after 48 hours
