The Department of Pediatric Medicine at St. Jude Children s Research Hospital is seeking a full-time, Clinical Faculty Pediatric Pulmonologist to join our growing team. This is a faculty-level position and is open to Assistant, Associate or Full Member (equivalent to Assistant/Associate/ Full Professor in a medical school setting). Faculty rank will be offered at a level commensurate to a candidate s experience.
This is an exciting opportunity for a pediatric pulmonologist with an interest and/or passion in treating patients being treated for cancer and hematologic diseases. This will be a very unique role. Clinically you will be supporting a mission that truly changes lives. From a research perspective, you'll have the opportunity to make a mark on groundbreaking clinical research related to pulmonary care in this patient population.
Position Highlights
- Provide clinical care of pediatric pulmonology patients being treated for hematologic, oncologic, and neurologic diagnoses at St. Jude: inpatient clinical care, inpatient consults; outpatient pulmonary clinic or follow-up care and consultation; procedures include bronchoscopy
- Partners with members of our Patient Care team, Critical Care team, other clinicians, and our Pulmonary Function lab to offer high-standard of care to patients
- May have on-call and weekend responsibilities
- Potential opportunity for cross-coverage at local general pediatric hospital
