We are seeking an experienced General Surgeon for a 14-day locum tenens assignment in New York, beginning Jan 22, 2026. This two-week onsite role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with a mix of operating room, clinic, endoscopy, and rounding duties. Housing is provided for the duration of the assignment, and weekend coverage is limited to emergency and trauma cases only.

- Schedule: Monday–Friday; OR on Monday and Tuesday, clinic and OR on Wednesday, scopes on Thursday, rounding and clear on Friday; no scheduled cases on weekends, but ER/trauma coverage as needed
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform general surgery procedures, including bread and butter cases and light trauma
- Conduct upper and lower endoscopy (required)
- Provide care in the operating room and clinic settings
- Round on patients and complete necessary documentation
- Respond to emergency and trauma cases as needed during weekends
