A well-established healthcare system in Northwest Ohio is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join its expanding general surgery/trauma team. They are looking for a Nurse Practitioner who is trained as a first assist or willing to be trained. This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a busy Level II Trauma Center alongside a collaborative group of providers delivering high-quality, comprehensive care in a fast-paced setting.
Position Overview:
- 4 10-Hour shifts weekly
- Full-time role with a mix of clinic, OR, and inpatient duties
- First responder to all trauma activations
- Provide general surgery consults and coordinate with on-call surgeons
- First assist in OR, manage inpatient rounding and admissions
- Rotate through outpatient services
- Weekend coverage required 1 in 4
