Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night ICU Stepdown position requiring an active AR or Compact RN license and recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the ICU Stepdown unit at a hospital
- Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Patient population consists of stepdown/ICU level patients
- Up to 5 days of requested time off is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
- Blocked scheduling may be permitted depending on facility needs
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will have different contract stipulations including rate and duration limits
- Subcontractor staff within 50 miles can only complete three consecutive 13-week local contracts before a 1-year separation or transfer
- All work histories should be continuous to reflect recent experience
Requirements
- Active AR or Compact RN license required at the time of consideration
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU stepdown or relevant specialty experience required
- No expiring certifications within the first 30 days of the assignment unless renewal is scheduled
- Must provide a valid U.S. Social Security Number for consideration
- No employment gaps of 90 days or greater within the past 12 months
