The position is for a full-time Electrophysiology Cardiologist based in Dothan, Alabama, starting September 2025, with weekday shifts and shared on-call duties. The role involves working at a comprehensive Heart & Vascular Center, providing advanced cardiac care including invasive and non-invasive procedures, and specialized treatments like TAVR and Watchman. Candidates must hold an active Alabama medical license, DEA registration, and be board-certified or board-eligible with full interventional cardiology skills.
VHS is searching for a qualified EP Cardiologist for a FT position in Dothan, AL! Shift Description: Start 9/1/2025 Mon-Fri 7a-5:30p Call coverage shared between 8 Cardiologists at an average of 4 times per month (will decrease as Cardiologists are added) Practice Description: Heart & Vascular Center consists of Cardiologists, CV Surgeons, Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, and Cardiac Electrophysiologists Established invasive, non-invasive, and structural heart programs Region s only facility offering the TAVR and Watchman procedures Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) from the American College of Cardiology Stellar cardiac rehab program with a pulmonary function component State-of-the-art Cath Lab Clinical Decision Unit prepares and houses outpatients for cardiac procedures Position Requirements: Must have active AL state license AL DEA needed BC or BE required Full interventional skillset with cardiology VieMed Healthcare Staffing is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
