? About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and clinically strong Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Med-Surg Oncology team on a part-time, day-shift schedule. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality oncology and medical-surgical care while building meaningful connections with patients and families.

As a frontline caregiver, you’ll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, coordinated, and patient-centered care across the continuum.

? What You’ll Do

Patient Care & Coordination

• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Implement and adapt individualized care plans using sound clinical judgment.
• Coordinate daily patient flow to optimize safety, outcomes, and experience.
• Deliver care in alignment with clinical policies, procedures, and standards.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and education.

Patient Advocacy & Experience

• Act as a trusted advocate for patients and families.
• Provide education and emotional support throughout the care journey.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members.
• Support a patient- and family-centered care approach that enhances satisfaction.

Quality & Performance Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and patient outcomes.
• Contribute ideas and support initiatives focused on quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Participate in shared governance, councils, or sponsored improvement activities.

Professional Growth & Leadership

• Maintain active licensure and required certifications.
• Complete ongoing education and competency requirements.
• Mentor or precept fellow nurses when appropriate.
• Promote professionalism, accountability, and collaboration within the team.

? Education & Licensure

Required:

• Associate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s Degree in Nursing
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Single State or Multi-State Compact)
• BLS Certification (AHA or Instructor)
