About the FacilityA corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility LocationThe facility is located less than an hour from Seattle, Washington.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThis position offers four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The provider will see 8-15 adult patients per day. Required certifications include Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board eligibility or certification, BLS, an active Washington license, and DEA registration. The scope includes managing injuries, acute illnesses, follow-ups, physicals, correctional health visits, urgent and acute care, complex chronic care patients, and minor procedures. The provider will work alongside an MD and RN, with additional support from medical assistants and nurse practitioners. Credentialing typically takes 1-7 days.
