Travel RN – Operating Room (Nights) – Albany, NY

Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: 12/8
Shift: Nights, 10-hour shifts (9:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Weekends: 1 in 3
Holidays: Rotating
On Call: Possible

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Operating Room RN experience required

• Must have strong experience in the following surgical specialties:

  • Cardiac

  • Neuro

  • Thoracic

  • Ortho

  • Vascular

• Proficient in circulating and/or scrubbing complex surgical cases

• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical workflows, and OR safety protocols

• Current NY RN license, BLS, and ACLS required

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-acuity surgical environment

• Circulate and/or scrub in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular procedures

• Ensure patient safety throughout the surgical process

• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical techs to ensure efficient case flow

• Support room turnover and instrumentation management

• Participate in on-call rotation as required

• Document all nursing care and patient responses accurately
