Job Description
As a Security Officer - Aero Security Clearance Patrol in Beavercreek, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, supporting a secure environment, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
- Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or observations.
- Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
- Assist with access control and visitor management in accordance with site-specific requirements for the aero and defense environment.
- Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions that may require additional attention or reporting.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
