Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• 5:1 patient ratio on 60-bed medical surgical telemetry unit
• Care for adult patients with small amount of pediatrics (1-5 pediatric patients per year)
• Common patient diagnoses include post-surgical, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, weakness, and cancer
• Float to other units including 6E, acute rehab unit, and geriatric psych unit
• Required to pass open book exam with 90% score during orientation or face contract termination
• Use Epic electronic medical record system and Alaris IV pumps
• Must wear navy scrubs
• BLS certification required
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
• Must live outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities
• Driver's license required at submittal
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
