Sr. General Accountant

Overview:
The Sr. General Accountant supports  accounting operations of a global, multi-location, multi-entity organization. This role focuses on SOX, audits, close, financial reporting,  consolidation & legal entity reporting, and continuous process improvements within a global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and review accounting transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations for business entities.

• Lead monthly close and consolidation processes in SAP, including BPC and BW submissions to corporate.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

• Support internal and external audit requests and maintain compliance with SOX and internal control policies.

• Ensure revenue recognition aligns with company policy and U.S. GAAP.

• Identify, lead, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting quality.

• Collaborate with local and corporate management on financial analysis and ad hoc reporting.
  
  Qualifications (Must-Haves):

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Minimum 5 years global accounting experience and 2 years public accounting.

• Expertise in SAP, BPC, and BW systems.

• Strong background in consolidation, legal entity reporting, and SOX compliance.

• Proven record of driving process improvement initiatives.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office Suite.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
