Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring EP/Cath experience, a SC or compact license, and BLS/ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a hospital Cath Lab setting within an acute care facility
- Patient ratio is 1:1
- Work schedule consists of 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm
- On-call required, including one weekend (Friday-Sunday) per month and one weekday each week, subject to change per staffing needs
- No floating between service lines or sister facilities is required
- Uses Epic EMR system
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Previous perm staff or PRN must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Local candidates within a 60-mile radius may be considered, subject to facility approval and local pay rules
- Hospital-issued scrubs required for this unit
- No-cost parking available with pass provided at badge pickup
- All required modules to be completed pre-start
- Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
- Requested time off must be included at submission; approval subject to facility needs
Requirements
- Active SC or compact state RN license must be in hand prior to start
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab/EP RN experience required
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required
- Radiation badge required; must be provided by the traveler
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
